What’s Been Happening at ClarkMorgan?

ClarkMorgan loves to collaborate. Already cooperating with UK/Italian firm TCO International with our Global People Program, this month we ran workshops and internal training programs with Exec-Comm from the USA, and the Australian Institute of Management, from Perth, Australia. That means ClarkMorgan’s reach is now well and truly global!

Closer to home, here’s what we got up to in July:

SOME OF JULY’S CLIENTS

Henkel – Presentation Fundamentals

Henkel is a 15 billion euro company, with a growing presence in emerging markets, where global sales account for 42% of business and where 54% of its people are employed. The company has a keen interest developing its people within these emerging markets, and ClarkMorgan has supported this goal since 2007. This is also the second year that ClarkMorgan trainers, Morry Morgan and Yan Sai, have supported the on boarding of Henkel’s newest sales trainees, this time with Presentation Fundamentals.


Luxottica – Hogan Personality Inventory

Luxottica is the world’s largest eyewear company, controlling over 80% of all major eyewear brands. ClarkMorgan has been supporting Luxottica in Shanghai, Dongguan, Hong Kong and Singapore. This month, at the Dongguan manufacturing facility, Yan Sai ran a Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) review for 15 maintenance managers. The HPI is used in conjunction with training to understand the strengths and gaps of managers, prior to developing a customised leadership and management development program.


Reed Exhibitions – Value Led Selling

Reed is the world’s largest exhibition organiser with operations in 39 countries and over 3,500 staff managing over 500 exhibitions and conferences. Some of the most famous exhibitions include New York’s Comic Con, The London Book Fair, and LuxeHome Shanghai, amongst many others.
This month, Morry Morgan presented a keynote address and team building to over 150 sales managers from Reed’s Asia-Pacific region on the topic of Value Led Selling.


SC Johnson – Communication Fundamentals

SC Johnson is an American privately held, global manufacturer of household cleaning supplies and other consumer chemicals. Within Asia-Pacific, the company has operations in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. Trainees from all of these locations attended the two day Communication Fundamentals program, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia conducted by Morry Morgan. The goal of the program was to bring these different cultures together, and provide them with practical skills to improve their productivity and effectiveness through synergy.


Wuxi Apptec – Project Management

Wuxi Apptec is a research and development services company headquartered in Shanghai, but listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: WX). The company acts as a contract researcher for most of the world’s largest pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies and many smaller companies, with over 1,600 individual company customers. Because of their rapid growth, Wuxi Apptec approached ClarkMorgan to build systematic, and broad topic training programs that could be delivered across multiple locations in China, and in both English and Mandarin. In July, Patrick McDonald, ran a Project Management program in the Shanghai headquarters.
